INGREDIENTS:
• 2 cups chickpea
• 2 large onions
• 4 cloves garlic
• 1 green bell pepper
• 2 large tomatoes
• 15 sprigs of parsley
• 1 tbsp. tomato puree
• some tomato juice
• 1 medium sized sausage
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 tbsp. baking soda
• salt and pepper
• oil
PREPARATION:
Leave the chickpeas overnight in water to soak.
Next day wash them, add the soda and mix well
so it goes everywhere, wash again and then add them in a pot with some water to boil on a low heat for 15-20 minutes.
Strain the water and pour the chickpeas in a baking pot that has a lid.
Continue by adding some oil to a pan and sauté the onions, garlic, peppers and sausage, all cut in slices.
