(The quantity of the ingredients depends on the number of club sandwiches you want to make. In the preparation we only use ingredients for one club sandwich. Regulate the quantity depending on how many you want to make.)
• toast bread
• lettuce
• ham or pariza or smoked turkey
• mayonnaise
• salt
• cheese slices
• bacon or smoked ham
PREPARATION: (for one club sandwich)
Layer 3 slices of toast bread on your counter. Smear the slices with mayonnaise (about ½ tsp). On the first slice add these ingredients: lettuce, ham, cheese slice.
Top with the second slice. On the second slice add: lettuce, salted tomato and baked bacon or smoked ham.
Top with the third slice, with the mayonnaise looking downwards. Place toothpicks cross like (it’s visible in the photos) on the bread slices.
Cut diagonally with the knife (twice until 4 pieces appear).
Serve in a tray and garnish with fried potatoes or chips.
NOTE:
Don’t add too much mayonnaise so that it won’t pour out of the bread. Don’t forget you’re making finger food and if the mayonnaise runs out it’s gonna get messy.
You can even warm up the bread slices in the toaster and bake the bacon if you’re going to eat it at that moment (served with fries).
If you’re going to eat it later don’t toast the bread and replace the bacon with smoked ham or any other cold cuts you like.
Garnish with chips.
The choices are endless. You can add any ingredient you like. It just takes imagination.
