A daisy on our table… Freshly baked and delicious bread on our table!
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 kg yellow flour for bread
• 2 sachets dry yeast
• 1 ½ tbsp. salt
• 1 tsp sugar
• 2 tsp oregano
• Lukewarm water
• Olive oil
PREPARATION:
In a large bowl add the flour, salt, yeast, sugar, oregano
and slowly combine while pouring in the lukewarm water.
Slowly knead the dough until it’s pliable and won’t stick to the sides of the bowl.
Then cover the dough with a towel and set aside for an hour to rise.
Afterwards, once the dough has risen,
Smear your hands with oil to give the dough your desired shape. For the daisy divide the dough in balls, oil a baking pan and place the balls stuck together.
Before you add the bread in the oven sprinkle it with water and then bake in a preheated oven at 180-200C for about an hour.
